The Shaolin Shooters cruised to a 57-33 win over the Bricked Up Ballers in a wire-to-wire performance that was decided by paint dominance and perimeter futility. Shaolin raced out early and never let go, stretching the margin behind efficient interior scoring while Bricked Up couldn't find the range from anywhere on the floor. The turning point came in the first half: Shaolin ripped off a run built on second-chance points (15 offensive rebounds) and crisp ball movement (8 assists on 27 makes), pushing the lead past 20 and keeping the foot on the gas the rest of the way. Bricked Up clawed back briefly behind Player-23's tough shot-making, but the supporting cast went ice-cold from outside, sealing the blowout.

The shooting splits tell the story. Shaolin connected at 45% from the field (27-of-60) and punished the interior at 49% on twos (26-of-53), with their lone made triple the only blemish on an otherwise efficient night. They protected the ball with just 3 turnovers. Bricked Up, meanwhile, went 12-of-49 (24%) overall and an ugly 0-of-15 from beyond the arc, missing every single three they hoisted. They salvaged 9 free throws on 12 attempts (75%) but coughed it up 9 times against only 3 assists, a brutal assist-to-turnover ratio.

Herman Ho did the dirty work inside for Shaolin with 18 points on 9-of-19 shooting and 9 boards, anchoring the glass. Daniel Lau added 17 on 8-of-14, and Andre Lee chipped in 15 on 7-of-12 with the team's only made three. Player-23 carried the entire Bricked Up offense with 22 points, but needed 27 shots to get there (7-of-27, 26%). Player-5 battled for 9 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.

Bricked Up Ballers
STRENGTHS
  1. Free throw shooting was a bright spot at 75 percent and we did a good job earning trips to the line with 12 attempts. Player 23 carried the offensive load with 22 points showing he can be a reliable scorer and primary option. Defensive rebounding was solid with 17 defensive boards which limited their second chance points. We stayed disciplined with only three personal fouls which kept us in position defensively without sending them to the line.
TO WORK ON
  1. Shooting was the critical issue with a dismal 24 percent from the field and a brutal zero for fifteen from three point range which is simply unacceptable at any level. Ball movement was almost nonexistent with only three assists against nine turnovers meaning we played one on five isolation basketball instead of trusting the offense. Defensively we generated just one steal showing zero perimeter pressure and passive on ball defense that allowed easy entry passes. Coach we need to install more off ball motion get our shooters open looks in rhythm and commit to a defensive identity that creates turnovers and transition opportunities.
Shaolin Shooters
STRENGTHS
  1. Strong offensive execution overall with a 45 percent field goal mark and excellent interior efficiency at 49 percent on two point attempts. The team showed tremendous discipline with only three turnovers which is outstanding ball security for a full game. Offensive rebounding was a major strength with 15 second chance opportunities giving us multiple looks per possession. Daniel Lau and Herman Ho provided reliable scoring punch combining for 35 points on efficient shooting while Andre Lee contributed a balanced line with scoring rebounds and a steal.
TO WORK ON
  1. We are not getting to the free throw line at all with only three attempts the entire game which indicates we are settling for jumpers instead of attacking the rim aggressively. Three point shooting was ice cold at 14 percent and we need to either find better shooters or design higher percentage looks from beyond the arc. Zero blocks is alarming and shows we lack rim protection and interior deterrent presence which allowed their bigs to operate comfortably. Coach we need to address defensive positioning in the paint and emphasize driving lanes in our offensive sets.
